Do you love your family?

Hey mom

My week was full of blessings. Let me start with Matt and step!!! They both got there endowments out and got sealed this week. I had the blessing of working with this two a lot and helped re active him in my last area. My cup was brim with joy when they went to the temple this week.
My area is blessed. Things are just going so great. The lord is sending so many people our way. It's been such a great week. Being a trainer is awesome. It's a blast. I have one of the best companions. He loves to work and isn't shy from sharing the gospel. I call him an inconvenient hunter of men haha.. We are doing good together. Being a district leader has taught me a lot. I love giving trainings so much. I love public speaking haha. Any ways my missionaries are doing super good. I struggle to get a long with my elders but all I can do is just offer help. The lord will Heston his work with, or without them.
And good for damitu!!! I am so happy for her. People freak out when I tell them.. I will soon have two other siblings out on a mission haha. That's so cool tho. Oh and they all say.. As soon as your sister goes out on a mission, your packages will go down the drain hahahaha.. I just think it's funny.
Dillion is one of our bap dates.. He is doing spectacular. He came to church this Sunday. And he made sure his whole family came as well. And we are soooo happy. I truly am in awe of his faith and diligence. He will get baptized in two weeks.
Kyra is our other bap dates. She is 19 and just got done with high school. She had once before investigated the church. And she is yearning to be baptized on the 23 of July. We are super stoked for her and can't wait for it. She is great.
Something we have been doing this week is, that focusing our contacts more on families. Because this gospel is geared towards families. Anyways it been such a sweet way of contacting haha.. So this is how I like doing it " excuse me.. Do you love your family?! And they always say of course. So then I follow up and say... Do you think, your love for your family should end at death?! And they stop and think and say no." And we start teaching the plan of salvation right there and it's been so awesome. We have been getting a lot of return appointments from it. and two families came to church this week because of it. The Kent's and hills!!! And we will be teaching them more this week. His gospel does bless families and it truly is what can quench our spiritual thrust.
This month has been bad on miles.. We got cut a hundred miles because a new area opened in the zone, so they had to give them miles.. So we started out riding bikes and both of my tires finally tore open and the tubs kept popping haha.. So we walked almost 8 miles on Saturday  in 95 degrees weather haha.. The blisters at the bottom of my feet the next morning weren't very pleasant.. Bet it still was awesome.
Thank you for all you do. I really do appreciate all the help and support. I love you and keep you in prayers. Remember the lord gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. You are a fantastic example of a good mom.
I don't need garments but I need some Long sleeve shirts haha... My collars are coming apart and I think I just need one or two.. But yea thank you and love you :)

I Love the Temple

Hey mom!
Ugh I am staring not to like the dentist. Anyways yea my whole mouth seems like it's hurting haha.. Morning is the worst. It hurts every time I open my mouth. They said I don't have a teeth coming out... But I highly doubt that. Every one at the church is telling me it's a teeth haha. Anyways what they told me that, I have to get this plastic thing I have to put on when I go to sleep and it's like a mouth guard or teeth guard. Whatever you want to call it haha.. And it comes specifically molded for your teeth but idk and it's pretty expensive. They were saying I grind my teeth when I sleep or something like that and that it was because of a lot of stress.. Idk they are crazy haha!

But anyways good for damitu. That's so special. And I am glad it was a good explain everything for y'all. I love the temple. Don't really have enough time to go on your mission... But I will defiantly be going quit often when I come home. And yes it's my year mark this week! I feel like I have just been out 6 months haha.. That's really how it feels but yes, it doesn't mean you slow down or not work as hard your second year haha.. I love my mission. It gets better and better everyday. I am just glad to be out here.

Oh and good for ramato haha.. Someday from the orphanage had to go back and serve their mission there haha.. I remember how I wasn't so happy with my call at first but now I am so thankful that I am in America haha.. I would not know that to do, with out a car and wifi and fast food and Hispanic food haha. I ain't complaining haha. Life is good.

Anyways thank you for all you do. I really am so thankful and I feel blessed to have you add my mother. I am always bragging about how awesome my mom is haha. I hope you have a blessed week. I love you!

Touch of the Master's Hand

Hey mom😊
I am glad you liked that email. And no problem it's the least I can do.
What a blessed week it was for us here. I can't tell you, how much this week meant to me. I know that the lord was working with us along our side this week and I could tell his hands were in every single day of the week.

Wendell did get baptized! It truly was something that I will always remember. This is the hardest, I have ever worked for anything. From the day I met him till the day he got baptized, I was thinking, praying, pondering and beseeching my Heavenly Father to help us get him baptized. And it wasn't it easy. But it was worth every second. It was worth every effort. I feel so blessed. The spirit was so strong and everyone was filling it, at his baptism. This truly was the most spiritual baptisms I have ever been too. He was ready. He truly applied the atoning sacrifice of our savior Jesus Christ. He didn't just hope to be saved by grace, he changed himself by grace to more Christlike and loving person.

Sunday was his confirmation. And he was glowing. He just kept smiling and it was such a neat experience. During the elders quorum we talked about the importance of reading our scriptures daily. And  Wendell and the opportunity to read in the class and the way he was reading it, made it sound so poetic and it sounded like he had know that doctrine his whole life. Everyone was like wow haha.. I truly stand all amazed at how much he has progressed in this gospel. He kept saying "wow this church is true" and we kept telling him "took long enough to figure that out tho" haha.. But no he is so awesome.

The other tender mercies we saw this week was, with Erica and Marvin. I love this two to death. They are struggling a lot right now with financial issues but that doesn't keep em from meeting with us. They treat us if we are like family. They are progressing so fast. Erica is already and in the book of mosiah. I was super impressed with them. Things are looking up for them. And I know, as long is they make the lord Jesus Christ there priority, everything will work out for the good.

I am sorry I talk to much haha.. But I am so glad tofik and gutama have been doing good. I don't know  if they ever got the chance to read my email or not, from last week. But that's awesome. Anyways thanks for all you do. Thank you so much for mentioning the atonement. I will share with you a poam that has impacted me, over the past year. I feel that I could relate to it. Here it is..
Twas battered and scarred, and the auctioneer Thought it scarcely worth his while
To waste much time on the old violin,

But held it up with a smile:
“What am I bidden, good folks,” he cried, “Who’ll start the bidding for me?”
“A dollar, a dollar”; then, “Two!” “Only two? Two dollars, and who’ll make it three?
Three dollars, once; three dollars, twice; Going for three—” But no,
From the room, far back, a gray-haired man Came forward and picked up the bow; Then, wiping the dust from the old violin, And tightening the loose strings,
He played a melody pure and sweet As a caroling angel sings.
The music ceased, and the auctioneer, With a voice that was quiet and low, Said, “What am I bid for the old violin?” And he held it up with the bow.
“A thousand dollars, and who’ll make it two? Two thousand! And who’ll make it three? Three thousand, once, three thousand, twice, And going, and gone!” said he.
The people cheered, but some of them cried, “We do not quite understand
What changed its worth.” Swift came the reply: “The touch of a master’s hand.”
And many a man with life out of tune,
And battered and scarred with sin,

Is auctioned cheap to the thoughtless crowd, Much like the old violin.

A “mess of pottage,” a glass of wine,

A game—and he travels on.

He’s “going” once, and “going” twice,

He’s “going” and almost “gone.”

But the Master comes, and the foolish crowd Never can quite understand

The worth of a soul and the change that’s wrought By the touch of the Master’s hand.
I love you and have a good week💙

Heaven is Cheering you on

No problem mom.

And yes miracles do happen. The lord never leaves our side. And he is always answering our prayers. I was strongly reminded of that this week! I love him and he use is so sweet. This gospel is true. I am in awe of his patience with me.

The lord doesn't give us any challenges with can't Handel. And we does give those challenges, he doesn't just wait at the end of the road for you to make it. He is there every step of the way encouraging you. And caring you when you can walk. He is indeed a loving father. I love him. Have a good week mom!  "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Heaven is cheering you on. Today, tomorrow and forever! Elder holland.
